The 10-colour KBA Rapida 105 is due to be installed in the pressroom in February and be commercially operational by March.
The sheetfed perfector has lightweight paper package, fully automatic plate change, Densitronic colour management, Technotrans dampening and a Baldwin washing system.
Wood Printcraft managing director David O'Brien said: "We want to be ahead of the competition. This is a big leap forward for us and the KBA team presented the best business case for their machine."
The pressroom is currently equipped with four Heidelberg and two Komori presses.
Wood Printcraft is considering a move to a new greenfield site in the next few years following their Malahide Industrial Estate site being rezoned for residential use.
The company, established in 1837, has a turnover in excess of £10m and employs more than 100 people.
Its work mix includes general commercial printing, such as annual reports, PR and promotional print and stationery, as well as holding "substantial" contracts with major financial institutions and a growing folding cartons division.
