The VersaCoater Documate Plus features built-in IR, designed to handle wax-infused inks. It also has three supply tanks and pumps.

It has a running speed of 24m per minute, a footprint of under 1.1sqm, and is capable of coating printed documents and photos up to 330mm wide.

Other features include a sensor-activated light shield, dual-stage ink conditioning stations and an automatic cleaning cycle.

It is compatible with photographic, litho and digitally-printed output up to 350gsm.

According to Drytac, the machine is "one of the smallest and most user-friendly UV coaters on the market today". It is aimed at printers wanting multi-featured UV curable coating at a low cost.
