Dharam Digital Press commissions fleet of Canon presses

The newly formed Dharam Digital Press in New Delhi, a sister company of Amit Electostat commissioned three Canon Imagepress 7010 VP.

Virender Kasana, the owner of the firm, said: "We needed new machines as we sold out some of our old digital printing presses. The work is increasing at a good rate and the click charges offered by Canon along with direct finance facility, prompted us to opt for it."

Kasana brothers, Virender and Mahendra, are the owners of five digital printing companies.

"2008 and 2011 were the best year for us in terms of buying the euipment to feed the working that we were getting. Our target with newly installed machines is to increase our print run from five lakh to seven lakh colour A3 sheets per month and we are expecting around 15% annual growth," said Virender.

Walk-in customers come in major capacity at the printing facility, while the company clientele includes Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), New Delhi Power Limited (NDPL) and Bajaj Capital.

Now, Amit Electrostat has four sister concerns including Dharam Reprographic, Verma Electrostat, Sumit Fax and Dharam Digital Press. The printing facilities except the Dharam Digital Press are based in Nehru Place and Dharam is based out of Okhla Industrial Area, New Delhi.

The group of digital printing facilities runs seven days a week with around 40 people in Nehru Place and Okhla industrial area.
