D2 Printing grows its sales team

Big growth in packaging has prompted D2 Printing to strengthen its team by appointing a new sales manager.

Drew Dixon has over 30 years’ experience in luxury print and packaging. He joined the West London company from packaging firm Pusterla 1880 where he was also sales manager.

D2 was established in 1998 by David Houghton and David Harrison to offer print and packaging.

The Heidelberg house near Hampton Court has a multimillion-pound turnover.

Joint managing director David Harrison said: “We are looking at massive growth in packaging in the next two to five years.

“We wanted someone to increase our offering of rigid boxes and folded cartons as well as commercial print – there's a whole circle of different products for Drew to work on.”

Harrison added: “Not so much money is spent on marketing these days, but packaging is the way forward, especially in luxury, which is our specialism.”

Fellow managing director Houghton said: “Drew is a great find and his appointment coincides with our 20th year. He is the perfect fit for D2.

“His reputation is second to none and he is exactly the type of person we want as part of our leadership team. His knowledge and experience will greatly benefit us and our customers.”

Dixon said: “D2 has a fantastic reputation and I’m excited to be part of such a highly motivated team that values attention to detail.”
