The academic book and journal printer, which produces 2,000 books and 150 journals a year, will install EMS software at its book printing division.
Kodak claims the EMS system extends beyond traditional print MIS to integrate print and business workflow, backed up by manufacturing enterprise resource planning software (ERP).
EMS includes support for multiple languages and economies and provides tools to manage offset and digital print workflows, customer and supplier relations, fulfilment and quality management.
"We are in the market for software that will improve customer retention and satisfaction and empower our shop floor personnel," said Cambridge managing director Sandra Ward.
A Kodak EMS beta is already running at a site in the US.
