Craftwork Cards eyes 40% turnover increase following QVC deal

Greeting card company Craftwork Cards has said it expects a 40% increase in turnover thanks to an exclusive distribution deal with TV shopping channel QVC.

The Leeds-based company will relocate to a new 7,000sqm headquarters in Garforth, on the outskirts of the city, to deal with the additional work.

Craftwork Cards prints all of its cards in-house and the £1.2m-turnover company also handles cutting, foiling and embossing.

Managing director Sue Taylor said: "This is a three-year distribution agreement we’ve got with QVC. We’re taking it at quite a steady pace at the moment but we’re hoping to build up our production.

"In the future, as quantities increase, we might look to invest in bigger machinery."
