Cradley produced 250,000 of the 278mmx230mm perfect-bound magazines, which went on sale yesterday (5 November) with a cover price of 2. Colour Systems did the magazines repro work.
Seven Publishing managing director Seamus Geoghegan said he chose Cradley to print the monthly title because it could also handle binding, ink-jet personalisation and fulfilment.
Its an opportunity for Cradley to put its name on the door, he said. They did a great job for us. Ive know the Jordan brothers [Chris and Nick] for a number of years.
Geoghegan worked with Cradley during his time at BBC Worldwide, where he was director of the Lifestyle Group. He also worked as publishing director at Redwood.
The win is good news for Cradley, which lost the contracts for Broadcast, Architects Journal and Health Service Journal in Emaps supplier review earlier this year (PrintWeek, 9 May).
