ControlP has merged the operations of its online print portals, printbynet.com and ctrlp.com.
Printbynet.com will run both sites from Sheffield. It will continue to handle large-scale print selling, but will now also take on the smaller transactions attracted by Londons ctrlp.com.
No job cuts were planned, said printbynet managing director David Howarth, and both sites would retain their characteristics.
Warren Tayler, chairman of ControlP, which owns both the operations said the move would increase buying power and cut running costs.
Howarth said: "This will enable us to buy print more efficiently. We have four main printers handling three-quarters of our work. The more work we feed them, the better the prices we can pass on."
The four printers are Redhot Press in Huddersfield, Prism in Leeds, MCI near Tunbridge Wells and Rotherhams B&B Press. Other printers are used for smaller jobs.
