The 3.6x1.6m UV-cured machine is being used to expand its offering into short-runs and plastic substrates; sectors it believes are more profitable than its core corrugated cardboard market.

"HP technology enables both and will allow us to meet our goal to increase our sales by 50%," said operation manager Yoram Pirani.

The FB7500 will be installed at the factory in Caesarea where the company already runs an HP Scitex FB6700 flatbed machine.
