Procurement consortium Print Hub Global has partnered with CarbonQuota on a new initiative aimed at reducing the carbon impact across its supplier base.

Print Hub Gobal was set up two years ago with an alternative business model promising ‘no risk sales’ for printing companies and a no cost proposition for clients.

The fresh partnership with CarbonQuota involves a new Carbon Impact Initiative that will focus on the direct operations of Print Hub Global’s supplier network, with the expectation that it could mark the beginning of the “Net-Zero journey” for many of the firms involved.

Print Hub Global managing director Chris Kelly told Printweek: “Sustainability is at the heart of what we do and we have built a network of suppliers across the UK and globally. We’ve known CarbonQuota for some time and have been impressed with their background and knowledge of the industry.

“Some of our suppliers already work with CarbonQuota but we felt it was right to expand that. We really champion sustainability at our clients and at our suppliers – the printers that perform best in our network are also driving sustainability.”

CarbonQuota client services manager Jenny May said the business was delighted about the new collaboration: “Chris and the team have a genuine passion to support their supplier network, by calculating and reducing their carbon impact, this makes Print Hub Global the perfect match for CarbonQuota.”

CarbonQuota was co-founded by Dominic Harris and Nathan Tiller, and began operations in 2020. It offers independent advice and certification to help firms achieve their Net-Zero ambitions.
