Canon launches Digital Dimensions hub

Canon has launched a subscription-based online hub, Canon Digital Dimensions, with the aim of helping its customers to grow their businesses.

The Digital Dimensions hub, which is exclusive to Canon customers and costs from £250 a year, combines business and technology insight with a peer networking portal.

The website (digitaldimensions.canon-europe.com) includes a news section and events calendar as well as exclusive content ranging from business strategy and planning to getting the best ROI on digital and workflow investments.

Subscribers will be able to interact via a blog and ask questions of industry experts via online seminars. The website also features a portal where printers can create a profile of their company and services.

Canon European and UK marketing director, Professional Print, Mark Lawn said: "We’re trying to provide a marketplace for you to present yourself to your peers in order that you might start new commercial relationships with like-minded companies who are also on the Canon Digital Dimensions hub."

He added: "Print service providers are having to address new customers – typically the marketing department…and we have to be able to demonstrate [to them] that print has a very significant ROI and is a vital component of the communications mix.

"Really what we’re trying to do with Canon Digital Dimensions is to provide [Canon users] with a platform to be able to address these new customers with compelling information about the ROI of print and to help them to secure new business."

Annual subscription packages start from £250 for a single user, rising to £695 for 10 users and £1,595 for a 50 user Enterprise Group Subscription.
