The company has invested almost 250,000 in its Oc VarioPrint 2100 black and white digital press and an Oc Colour Production System (CPS) 800 digital press. It hopes they will help to increase its turnover by 30% over the next two years.
"We produce a lot of work for Cambridge University that is needed in a hurry," said managing director Nicholas Russell (pictured left). "These upgrades will allow us to produce high quality work with far greater efficiency."
Dr Mary Archer launched the new presses in a ribbon cutting ceremony at the firm's enhanced digital facility.
"Dr Archer is a long-standing customer of Cambridge Printers and a friend," said Russell.
Cambridge Printers was formed in January 2004, through the merger of Larman Printers and Copycolour.
