London-based Callprint will use its own staff to run the studio. The site boasts more than £250,000 of digital kit from Océ, HP, Xerox and Canon.
Allies and Morrison, one of the UK’s leading architecture firms, has completed a number of print- and publishing-related projects including the recent revamp of the London College of Communications’ south London site and IPC Media’s iconic new building in Southwark.
Its dedicated Callprint site will run an Océ wide-format plan printer, alongside Canon and Xerox multi-function devices and finishing kit.
Operations director Ian Locke said at least two Callprint technicians would always be onsite, with up to five present at busier times.
If the onsite machines are unable to meet the company’s requirements, one of Callprint’s 19 sites will be used.
Locke said: “Our other sites are available for Allies and Morrison. We guarantee the printing, not the machine.”
