The five/five perfector will arrive at Buxtons Derbyshire factory in May and will run alongside its eight-colour Rapida, as well as its Komori and Aurelia B1 presses, giving it a total of 39 B1 units.
Chairman and chief executive Bernard Galloway said that the extra unit on each side of the perfector would help broaden the firms market base, which is primarily focused on contract publishing.
"The eight-colour is fine, but we believe the market is moving much, much more towards sealing," he said.
Galloway added that he anticipated installing more 10-colour presses in the future as "perfecting print is the way forward".
Before opting for the KBA, Galloway assessed all the 10-colour options on the market, but said he was swung by the KBAs build quality and the level of service he had received on the eight-colour.
"Its extremely well constructed and has just about enough paraphernalia on it for us to absorb. I think some manufacturers can go a bit over the top with dressing up their machines," he said.
Galloway said he brought forward the installation so he could take the Ipex machine. "Its a bonus for KBA and we believe its a bonus for jolly old Buxton Press to have a placard over the top of it," he said.
Buxton employs just over 100 staff and has sales "pushing 10m".
