Burgo has entered the Guinness Book of Records after its entry for the "world's biggest newspaper" approved by the Guinness Jury in Lausanne.
The jury were presented with an enlarged copy of the Lausanne-Cites weekly which, when opened flat, measured 6.84x5.05m and contained 52 pages.
The project took an incredible 60 hours of continuous ink-jet printing to produce.
The newspaper was produced using R4 Chorus, a triple-coated woodfree (or lignin free) paper supplied by Burgo's Ardennes mill.
The mill has been the subject of investment of some 87m (e145m), which has increased production from 750 tonnes to 1,000 tonnes per day.
R4 Chorus is available in a range of weights between 90-300gsm in sheets and 90-170gsm in reels, and it also includes a gravure quality in weights between 115-150gsm.
