B&P Group falls to administrators

Screen printer B&P Group has gone into administration, appointing Andrew Poxon and John Titley of the Bury office of Leonard Curtis to handle the case.

According to documents filed at Companies House on 10 December, the Cheadle, Cheshire-based printer, which was established 30 years ago, appointed Poxon and Titley as administrators on 23 November.

For the year ending 2008, the company, which has produced work for clients such as Topshop, Dorothy Perkins and Vision Express, had a turnover of £5.2m and employed 69 staff.

In 2007, the point-of-sale specialist made its largest investment to date after spending £3.5m on a KBA Rapida 205 for its 7,000sqm Stanley Green Trading Estate site.
