B.I.G takes Tesco badges into six figures with HP Indigo s2000

B.I.G has produced more than 100,000 personalised name badges for Tesco using its HP Indigo s2000.

The project builds upon a 10-year relationship with the retail giant and B.I.G is expecting to roll out nearly half a million badges over the next 18 months.

The printer is producing the personalised badges on its HP Indigo s2000 press, which involves printing the name, job title and optional work-related fact about the employee. The printing process uses HP's liquid ink technology.

B.I.G general manager Tim Smith said: "We designed the name badges to be produced on our HP Indigo press s2000, which has been customised by HP to print on the plastic substrate used to form the badge."
