Bezier prints PoS material for Boots

Bezier has produced a raft of in-store Point of Sale (PoS) material for retail giant Boots.

The company won the Boots contract in September last year and has created PoS for all 1,400 of its UK stores. All of bezier's divisions were involved in the production and delivery of the material which was printed on litho, digital and screen equipment.

"What we produce is specific to certain individual stores and we are managing the production and the distribution," said bezier managing director for Wakefield Mark Shaw. "It is a significant campaign for Boots and for us it is part of a service we can deliver to all our retail clients."

Boots linked up with bezier in an attempt to improve compliance. The retailer has started a "Store Friendly" initiative, which aims to make it easier for stores to implement in-store promotions. Bezier is working with Boots to distribute packs to its in-store staff.

"It is a normal service that we offer for our customers and we have developed it over many years," added Shaw.

The first PoS campaign kicked off in December with 220 different designs and 10,000 bespoke packages.

"This is the most radical change we have ever made to the way in-store marketing campaigns are implemented in Boots," said Boots head of marketing planning and implementation Andrew Stafford.

Last November bezier produced and distributed I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here-themed PoS for travel agent First Choice. The company also developed an online print procurement system for Asda.
