BAPC details speakers for annual conference

Time is running out to book for this year's BAPC conference, which according to the industry body is its strongest line-up yet.

Speakers at the two-day event include high-profile environmentalist Oliver Heath; Tony Travers, director of the research centre at the London School of Economics; and motivational speaker and Olympic gold medal-winning cox Garry Herbert MBE. The line-up also includes a host of leading figures from the world of print.

BAPC chairman Sidney Bobb said: "This is without doubt the strongest line-up of speakers we've ever had at the conference. The varied topics and experiences they will be sharing should make it highly informative. Add to that the networking opportunities and it becomes an invaluable event in the industry's calendar."

Industry speakers include Kodak global head of business development Jeff Hayzlett, BPIF chief executive Michael Johnson, Océ UK managing director Bron Curley, managing director of Colne Press Simon Breeze and Dave Brooks, managing director of the BAPC's 2006 Business of the Year, Zap Graphics.

The conference, which is being hosted at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Marlow, Buckinghamshire, kicks off on the evening of Friday 7 November with 'An Evening with Tom O'Connor' and after the morning and afternoon conference sessions, it will close on the evening of Saturday 8 November with the BAPC Awards dinner.

Tickets for the conference and Awards cost £120. For full details and booking information, visit the BAPC web site: www.bapc.co.uk.
