Avery Dennison is to incorporate the Pantone range of colours for its Avery 900SC signage films product for the UK market.

It is the first time that the entire Pantone range will be available for vinyl materials and extends the previous number of colours available. Since 2000, 80 colours have been on the market for the Avery 900SC films.

The move targets producers of signage including vehicle graphics, advertising and PoS material. The UK will pilot the offer. Avery Dennison communication manager Evert-Jan de Vries says that if successful, the range will be extended into Europe later this year.

"Traditionally there has been a limited choice of colours. But the extended range of will make a difference for corporate identity specialists charged with specifying production materials," said de Vries.
