The new brands will sit alongside Arjos Conqueror range, which was overhauled last year (PrintWeek, 4 May 2001).
Curious is a designer brand, while Arjo Wiggins Impressions is aimed at printers but still retains designer characteristics.
The Impressions brand is split into four sub-brands; Textures, Special Colours and Embossings, Offset Colours and Business. Arjo Wiggins Impressions is distributed exclusively through Antalis.
There are more than 1,200 lines within the uncoated range of Impressions, supported by mill stocks and tonnage at Arjo Wiggins distribution centre at Erith in Kent.
Curious is also split into four sub-brands; Curious Particles, Metallics, Translucents and Touch. The Curious Collection will be exclusively distributed by merchant Robert Horne.
Back-up websites for both brands will also be launched, providing technical information.
