Applied Optical Technologies (AOT) has secured the contract to supply brand protection for the Athens 2004 Olympic merchandise range.
All official products will feature an Olympic hologram and other security features on both labels and swing-tags.
As well as ensuring brand integrity, AOT will protect Olympic products through its track and trace system.
Finance director Mike Angus said: "Each label has individual identification. So if we can trace any item throughout the world, we can tell what type of merchandise it is, where it was produced and which market it was intended for."
AOT recently won the contract for next years FIFA World Cup merchandise protection. It also performs protection for the Major League Baseball and the National Football League.
