Agfa has introduced a violet laser model of its Polaris CTP family at Ifra in Geneva.
Agfa worldwide product manager Mark Bussard said: "The Polaris already achieves throughput of 235 plates per hour, violet-laser imaging offers the potential of even greater speeds."
The new Polaris system can image any violet-imaged plate including the companys Lithostar Ultra-V.
