The Onyx Postershop 6.0 Agfa Edition RIP adds support for 16-bit TIFF and JPEG 2000 image files, plus a web portal for remote print management.
The system also provides new tools for customised colour management and pre-flighting.
PosterColour colour rendering technology offers improved CMYK output when ICC profiles are used, according to Agfa.
The new RIP will be displayed as part of Agfas products on view at four Viscom International Trade Fairs for Visual Advertising Techniques and Signmaking later this year.
They will be held on 4 September in Dsseldorf, 17 September in Paris, 16 October in Madrid and 14 November in Milan.
