Agfa discusses industrial printing ambitions at Fespa

Agfa used Fespa Digital as a platform to highlight its ambitions in the industrial printing market, as the firm looks towards the future with new objectives.

The Belgian graphics firm discussed its ‘new mission’ to integrate inkjet printing into manufacturing.

Vice president of inkjet Dominiek Arnout said: “We are organising a tsunami of new products. We are not afraid of the industrial world and development of new applications is the key. Industrial printing is our next ambition.”

The firm’s central focus on its stand this year though is its Asanti workflow software, which is based on its Apogee technology. Asanti offers a complete automated workflow for the sign and display industry.

“The worldwide sign and display market is a sound market with solid growth opportunities that are correlated to the global economy. What is changing in this market are the ongoing technology evolutions and the structural changes. Asanti is at the centre of our booth as it is the heartbeat of production for the sign and display world,” said Arnout.

Agfa is exhibiting in Hall B1, Stand 380-390. Also on its stand is its new Anapurna 'i' series printers and a new primer option for its Jeti Titan S and HS 3.2m-wide flatbed printers.
