The move follows a four-fold increase in the company's binding output over the past five years. The Horizon will add to its booklet production equipment.
Managing director Lawrence Dalton said the choice of kit was "a no-brainer".
"We needed to find a solution for our perfect binding needs and we have always found Horizon to be robust."
1st Byte bought its first perfect binder from GAE five years ago and purchased a Horizon HOF-30 sheet feeder in July this year.
