60 seconds with Bootyman Print & Packaging

Founded in 1914 by William Bootyman – hence the name – the firm was a high street printer for 77 years until production of wet glue labels started.

Bootyman moved into larger commercial premises 19 years ago as demand for packaging grew. By 2012 (when current managing director Andy Binks joined) the company was wholly focused on wet glue and self-adhesive labels, and subsequently added carton board packaging – now the largest turnover section of the company. The factory has expanded from two to seven units
