Xeikon to show off digital print possibilities at PrintWeekLive! debut

Xeikon will be highlighting the wide variety of output applications its digital presses can produce when it exhibits at PrintWeekLive! in two weeks.

The manufacturer, a division of Flint Group, is to make its PrintWeekLive! debut after its UK team detected a buzz around the show.

“We rely on our UK staff to find good local events for us,” said corporate communications manager Danny Mertens. “They are our ears to the market and they noticed a lot of animation around PrintWeekLive!.

“For us participation in local shows like these is important because there are so few left. We want to offer events like this our support."

Xeikon's stand will feature physical examples of end-use items that can be produced on its digital presses, as well as backdrop and video displays showing the processes that created them.

“Our displays will focus on the production of labels, cartons and graphic arts that can be fulfilled on a number of our Xeikon machines," said Mertens.

"Showing kit is always great, but we still think we can show customers whatever challenge they face in their printing production, we can help them to make the best decisions for their business.”

The Xeikon stand will be focused heavily on three machines: the Cheetah CX3 label press, which runs at a top speed of 30m/min; the 9800 for document and commercial printing on a wide range of substrates; and the 3500 folding carton printer.

PrintWeekLive! takes place at the Wasps Arena, Coventry, on 7-8 March. To register, visit printweeklive.com.
