Gandy Digital (B1/556) will be discussing the Pred8tor, a 1.25x2.5m printer that Gandy, president of the new firm, claimed will be the first to deliver flatbed and roll-to-roll printing "without compromise" and "be the first commercial high-speed greyscale printer".
The Pred8tor's full specification will be unveiled in October. Gandy said it will have CMYK "1,200dpi photo quality", the option of white and varnish and will take less than a minute to print a full 1.25x2.4m bed, with a top speed of over 180m2/hour.

Die vollständigen Spezifikationen des Pred8tor werden im Oktober bekannt gegeben. Gandy zufolge bietet das System CMYK "mit 1200 dpi in Fotoqualität" sowie Weiß und Lack als Optionen.
Das Bedrucken der kompletten, 1,25x2,4 m großen Druckfläche nimmt weniger als eine Minute in Anspruch, bei einer Spitzengeschwindigkeit über 180 m pro Stunde.
