Based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, the laminating and foiling system manufacturer enjoyed a number of successful deals closed at last year’s show, which led it to choose to return to the Wasps Arena, Coventry, for 7-8 March this year.
Both the MC-35 Magnum creaser and the MCC-35 Magnum cutter/creaser will “significantly speed up” cutting and creasing processes, compared to manual cutting and creasing, according to marketing manager Iain Thornton. They will make their debuts at PrintWeekLive!, alongside the MC-35A and MCC-35A, which are the same machines augmented with an automatic feeder.
The machines will be shown alongside Vivid’s Matrix laminator, together with a Digital Omni-Flow feeder and EasyMount wide-format system.
“Our systems offer simple set-up, multiple creases per pass and both linear and cross perforation,” said Thornton. “A high level of accuracy is maintained with automatic drift adjustment and tick-mark crease position set-up.
“PrintWeekLive! was a success for us last year and presents an ideal opportunity to launch our new cutter/creaser systems as well as to continue to develop sales of our foiling and lamination solutions. We have had a fantastic 12 months since then, the highlight of which was a move to brand new custom-built premises featuring a large, state-of-the-art customer showroom packed with our extensive range of print finishing solutions.
“We would encourage people to visit our stand to marvel at the low cost, no set-up, metallic and spot UV type effects obtainable through the combination of our systems and to find out exactly how much time and money they could be saving by switching to our new cutter/creaser rather than either doing the job manually or outsourcing.”
Thornton said the new facility provides Vivid with improved production, service and warehouse facilities to better meet its customers’ expectations.
Last year's PrintWeekLive! saw Vivid sell three Matrix MX 370 machines and two Matrix MX 530s, all of slightly different specifications. The five purchasers came from a variety of UK regions, including two from Manchester and one from London.
