Three-day LMAI conference kicks off on 29 July in Goa

Print and technology will come together from 29 to 31 July 2011 at the Hotel Park Hyatt in Goa - as the biggest print firms in the label printing industry will gather to discuss the future of the segment in India.

As Sandeep Zaveri, key mover of Label Manufacturer's Association of India's (LMAI), said: "Print firms in India are seeking more revenue from kit. In this context, the conference, will examine a wide variety of strategies and practices that look at application of self adhesive label, combination process, paper handling, printability, substrates, foiling, ink, intermittent technologies, security designs and anti counterfeiting techniques."

Zaveri said there will be many international speakers and presentation of case-studies during the conference. He summed up: "We all need to keep our industry fresh."
