During the show, Teknek announced that Procam Flexoprints in Mumbai has opted for a contact cleaning equipment on its flexo press.
Sunil Bondre, director of Procam Flexoprints said: "As our target customers are in the food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, lubricant oil and FMCG sectors, quality is paramount. Installing the Teknek kit to the flexo press has helped us to deliver quality to our customers."
According to Raj Kumar Rana, sales manager of Teknek in India: "We provide an effective way of cleaning the web before printing or processing. An elastomer roller removes dry unattached particles down to one micron from the web and transfers them to a reverse-wound, sheeted adhesive roll for disposal."
The system eliminates contamination which could affect the quality of the end product due to hickeys and blemishes. Also it cuts waste and saves operator time.
