St Ives Direct Leeds makes 11 jobs redundant

St Ives Direct Leeds has made 11 staff redundant following a consultation with 17 employees, according to Unite regional officer Steve Hart.

Hart said the company announced redundancies around three weeks ago and that Unite had only one member on site affected.

He said: "Up to now, 11 people have been made redundant from the original 17.

"The company followed the consultation process and has informed me of its intentions at the same time as the announcement."

He added that some roles have been saved as a result of the Bradford site transferring work to Leeds.

He added: "I do not rule out that the people who remain may once again be at risk."

St Ives declined to comment.
