Ricoh in deal to offer Duplo kit

Finishing equipment manufacturer Duplo and digital press manufac- turer Ricoh have used Ipex to launch a pan-European partnership.

Duplo's equipment will be availa- ble to Ricoh operational companies as part of ‘print to finish' packages.

Duplo managing director Tony Lock said: "The partnership will add value as it will provide Ricoh customers with compatible digital print/finishing systems capable of completing the print-production process from start to finish."

To mark the event, Duplo features on the Ricoh stand (12/D130) for the first time, with the DC-615Pro cutter/slitter/creaser finishing brochures, flyers and corporate station- ery live on the booth.

Makeready will be fully automated, with barcodes on the sheets feeding set-up information to the DC-615Pro without any need for manual set-up.

Ricoh Europe product marketing manager Miriam Halabicova added: "The future of the professional industry hinges on technology that increases our customer's efficiency and productivity to develop new services to be able to maximise return on investment. We see complete solutions as instrumental in achieving this."
