How much has it grown?
The company, which celebrates its 60th anniversary next year, has doubled its turnover during the past five years. Culverlands Press recently extended its Winchester site by 190m2, taking the total building size to 840m2. It has invested in new technology including a Kodak Magnus 400V platemaker with Quantum square spot laser. The machine can make up to 20 Kodak Thermal Direct plates per hour and uses chemical-free plates. The company has also purchased a five-colour Heidelberg Speedmaster 74 and a Muller Presto finishing line with six stations and cover feeder. It claims that these investments have increased its printing capacity by 30%

What does the future hold?
The firm will continue to build on its green credentials and plans to gain FSC and ISO 14001 certification. It also wants to introduce an online proofing service
