It features improved contrast and runs of up to 200,000 without post-baking, although it can be baked for longer runs. The plate is up to 50% faster to image than its predecessor and has a longer bath life, resulting in greater efficiency and less maintenance for users. Agfa says the Amigo TS has been designed for use in standard platesetters and processors. According to the manufacturer, the ThermoFuse technology makes the Amigo TS more consistent than standard chemically developed plates. The product will be exhibited alongside Agfa’s Azura V, Azura TS plates plus the Avalon N platesetter.
