With the new generation of platesetters, Screen has focused on delivering a more efficient machine and shows that improved performance doesn’t have to mean worse environmental credentials and vice versa. A 12% speed increase is delivered along with a 28% reduction in power consumption per plate. In addition to making the platesetter itself more efficient, Screen has paid the same attention to the autoloaders and unloaders to ensure the whole platemaking process is as efficient as possible. Another feather in its environmental cap is its improved performance with processless plates.
