Euromedia adds new self-adhesive substrates

Fujifilm's Euromedia division has launched three new self-adhesive products including the first self-sticking wallpaper on the market.

"We wanted new end-use applications and are confident these do just that," said head of marketing Keith Harley. "They are cost effective and innovative."

The new materials are suitable for point-of-sale, window display and digital wallpaper applications.

SmoothWall Sticky, is being billed as unique as the first self-adhesive PVC-free fleece wallpaper.

Fuji claims it is fire retardant as well as easy to apply and remove with no shrinkage.

WonderTack Ghost, a clear PET media, bonds to smooth, flat surfaces without the use of adhesive, making it suitable for windows.

Like its sister, WonderTack, its ability to stick without adhesive is down to micro-porous suckers.

RigiTack, self-adhesive, matt white semi-rigid 360-micron PVC is for indoor point-of-sale materials and walls, and can be printed using solvent and aqueous inks.

According to Fujifilm, it works particularly well on surfaces including fabric, banner and structured walls. It is repositionable and can be re-applied several times.
