Elliott Baxter conquers Navigator Three Peaks Challenge

Staff at Elliott Baxter (EBB) have conquered the Navigator Three Peaks Challenge and raised more than 5,000 for the Alzheimer's Society charity.

On 26 and 27 June, a team of 17 staff from the paper merchant climbed the highest peaks in Scotland, Wales and England: Ben Nevis in Scotland at 1,344m, Scafell Pike in North West England at 978m, and Snowdon in North Wales at 1,085m.

The team was taken from all departments and branches at the company, and the event was sponsored by supplier Portucel Soporcel, which manufactures the Navigator Brand.

EBB managing director Tim Elliott, the oldest team member at 56, said: "It was fantastic to be sponsored by one of our key suppliers for such a great team-building exercise.

"As usual, the EBB team pulled through in great fashion and completed the challenge with a smile."
