Duplo set to debut Fujipla's latest laminator at London Calling show

The latest laminator from Fujipla will be on show at next month's London Calling 2, hosted by Duplo.

Fujipla, which handed UK distribution to Duplo in June this year, will use the event at Tate Modern to launch the PLS-3311 Pluster.

This year’s event will be the first trade show to be jointly attended by Duplo and its Finishing Alliance partners Friedheim and Renz.

The Pluster is a single-sided device with automatic four-side trimming designed specifically for the short-run digital market. It runs at up to 3m/min and can handle sheet sizes up to 356x500mm.

Peter Jolly, UK marketing manager at Duplo International said: "This product is aimed at alleviating bottlenecking in the bindery through automation, which in turn frees the operator to perform other tasks.

"It is relevant to printers that are currently struggling with increasing laminating volumes with a machine that is not fit for purpose.

"If you only laminate a couple of thousand sheets a day and don’t want to waste manpower babysitting a machine the Pluster is what you’re after."
