The deal, announced in July, has concluded with DST acquiring 65% of the shares in Dsicmm and merging it with its Bristol print and mailing operation, formerly DST Output.
Through the formation of the new company, Yolanda Noble steps away from her position as chief executive to take on the role of executive vice-president of Innovative Output Solutions.
Mark Felstead, formerly executive chairman at Dsicmm, becomes chief executive of the new company while Andy Young, erstwhile group managing director, becomes chief operating officer.
According to Young, the acquisition is positive news for both companies and customers alike.
"We have created the largest direct communications manufacturer within our sector in the UK with a wide range of services delivered from a spread of sites that covers the country," he said.
By taking 35% of the shares in Innovative Output Solutions, £76m-turnover Dsicmm is the subordinate partner in the group, despite being treble the size of DST Output's £26m-turnover UK operation.
Young said: "We have exciting plans for the future and look forward to announcing more about our new brand and integrated company soon.
"In the meantime, it’s business as usual and we remain firmly focused on delivering excellent service to our customers."
