DPM celebrates jubilee with a new digital kit

Pune-based offset and variable data printing (VDP) house, DPM Printers celebrated its silver jubilee by adding one more Xerox DP 180 digital press to its present digital setup.

Dinesh Mehta, managing director at DPM Printers, said: "The new Xerox kit keeps us up with the latest in technology besides helping us meet the growing print demand."

DPM Printers started its printing business in 1985 with one traddle and one cutting machine. In 1992, the company installed its first PO25 single-colour press from Manugraph, after which the company added two single-colour and one two-colour press from Max Printing and a two-colour press from Komori.

The all-Xerox digital print unit of DPM Printers was initiated in 2005 with a Nuvera 120 and two Fusion 4110. It later installed a DC 12, a DP 180 and three Teak 4112.

DPM's offset division caters mainly to carton, brochure and manual printing for automobile industry. The basic stationery is printed on offset and the VDP is done on the Xerox digital equipment.

The firm employs 20 persons and operates from a site spread across 35,000 sqft.
