Delta, which took on the contract from Bezier in April of this year, was judged on range of criteria including its ability to "challenge the status quo".
Claire Costello, head of procurement at Asda, said: "Delta have brought in fresh ideas from the industry, improved the quality of POS and invested heavily on the Asda business with an office just across the road and a brand new printing facility now in Leeds too. Thank you to all the Delta team who made this happen."
Delta Group has made a positive start to its contract with the retail giant, which ended its multimillion-pound point-of-sale deal with Bezier in February.
Simon Summers, Delta Group executive board-member, said he wanted to thank "every single person in the group for their amazing efforts and professionalism over the last six months ensuring a successful delivery of the transition of such a prestigious account".
He added: "To be chosen by the procurement and marketing teams at Asda is especially pleasing, as it demonstrates how well we and all our colleagues in Asda have worked together to manage and implement the transition of this account, whilst delivering and improving on business as usual. We are looking forward to a long and enjoyable relationship with Asda."
