Already, Romancing Print has notched a healthy registration of more than 200. What is remarkable is: registrations have poured-in from printers across the country, a few coming from Satara, Kolkatta, Jalandhar and also Ahmedabad.
Print experts from Kodak, Xerox, Heidelberg and APL shall make presentations to a VIP audience.
According to Jacob George of Press Ideas magazine and conceptualiser of Romancing Print: "62 delegates romanced with print when they availed the Valentine discount on 14 February."
The highlight of the day, other than the keynote by Chetan Bhagat shall be the audience-panel interaction series. This according to Jacob George promises to be insightful due to the presence young print players like Priyata Raghavan (Sai Printers), Amit Tara (Tara Art Press), Vikas Gulati (Galaxy Offset), Utsav Malhotra (Usha Diaries), Shiv Bhatnagar (Rave India) and Naveen Goel (Any Graphics). All of them will be in conversation with Pranav Parikh of TechNova.
Manoj Mehta, president of the AIFMP stated: "This will be the first major industry event in New Delhi."
This is the first time the AIFMP is conducting such an event, to coincide with Printer's Day celebrations which is celebrated on 24 February in honour of Johannes Gutenberg. Manoj Mehta is keen to host a series of print conferences in key print cities in India.
