Bordeaux to unveil new ink formulations at Drupa

Bordeaux Digital Printink has said it will show new ink formulations and technologies, including a "super flexible UV LED ink with extreme elongation properties", at Drupa next week.

The UV LED ink has improved properties that the company says will further complement the Israeli inkjet ink manufacturer's UV and UV LED product lines.

Bordeaux will also emphasise its ability to provide total solutions for printers by exhibiting its new line of water-based coatings for the wide-format digital printing market and UV-based coatings for more diverse applications, such as document finishing.

Both coatings are intended to increase the print’s durability to abrasion and prevent fading and are manufactured in the company’s new production facility in the US.

"We will reveal new products at Drupa for emerging technologies for the wide-format inkjet market, including inks and solutions to help printers grow their business," said chief executive Moshe Zach.

"The new solutions are part of Bordeaux’s ‘For Better Printing’ slogan reflecting our intention to deliver products and services that help achieve new business benefits reflected in better precision, value, performance, variety and environmental concerns."

Other products featured on Bordeaux's stand (Hall 3, B50) will include its Eco solvent technologies and its dye sublimation inks for direct and indirect application.
