Arjowiggins showcases Satimat Green grade at Ipex

Paper manufacturer Arjowiggins teamed up with Fujifilm at this month's Ipex exhibition to showcase its Satimat Green grade.

Fujifilm used Satimat Green, a silk-coated, white, recycled FSC-certified paper, in live printing demonstrations on its new JetPress 720 at the Birmingham-based show.

Julian Long, national key account manager at Arjowiggins Graphic, said: "Fujifilm chose Satimat Green for its amazing print quality and as an excellent example of a cutting-edge recycled stock that doesn't compromise on whiteness."

He added that the company's Cocoon Offset grade was also used by Xerox to run print demonstrations on its stand.

"This is another great example of a recycled paper, which offers whiteness comparable to virgin fibres," Long said.

He added that attending events, such as Ipex, gave Arjowiggins the knowledge to help ensure new products were adapted to suit the latest technologies available to printers.
