Apex to focus on 'solutions for profit' at open house

Apex Digital Graphics will be showcasing the latest ECRM DPX 2 polyester computer-to-plate system and Screen's PlateRite 4300 B2 platesetter at its forthcoming open house event in April.

The event will be promoted under the “Solutions for Profit” banner, which aims to demonstrate how products on show can be linked together to best effect.

The show will feature live demonstrations including Tharstern's MIS linked into the latest version of Screen’s TrueFlow workflow system, TrueFlow SE. This will send live job and JDF information through to either a digital printer or platesetter.

The ECRM DPX 2 features an automatic plate pre-load system and can output plates ranging from a minimum size of 250 x 250mm up to 420 x 550mm. The system offers resolutions from 900dpi up to 3600dpi and also features a redesigned waste container.

Also on display will be Screen’s B2 thermal platesetter, the PlateRite 4300. The PlateRite can handle plate sizes up to 830 x 600mm and output up to 20 plates an hour. The machine will be shown running FujiFilm Pro-T processless plates live at the show.

The UK distributor will also be exhibiting is range of Ryobi presses, including the five-colour 755, as well as finishing equipment from Morgana, MIS software from Tharstern, as well as products from EFI, Fuji and Technotrans among others.

Apex Digital Graphics joint managing director Bob Usher said: “By opening our doors to a wide range of fellow suppliers we believe that we can offer our customers and prospects an event that is even more relevant to their businesses.”

He added: “We have extended invitations to fellow suppliers that offer products that our customer base will be interested in. We anticipate that a number of suppliers will be able to link together to show off their products to best effect.”
