In a world where there’s currently a superabundance of things to be worried about, I’d like to sound a heartfelt thank-you to all the companies and individuals that entered the PrintWeek Awards.
The shortlist is out in our current issue, and congratulations must go to all those in the running for a coveted PrintWeek Prism trophy on 16 October, the big night.
What struck me over the course of the judging days was just how smart PrintWeek’s readers are. Smart at fixing customers’ problems. Smart at producing print, be it exquisite, every day or extraordinary. Smart at running their businesses and turning in some absolutely stonking sets of numbers. And last but absolutely not least, smart at spotting talent and nurturing it – the entries for Trainee of the Year were universally impressive.
Congratulations to those who made the shortlist and commiserations to those who missed the cut. Most of all, a huge thank-you and pat on the back to one and all for being a truly inspiring and happy-making lot.
