Xaar will not face any censure from the Information Commissioner’s Office following the cyber attack that it made public last month.

In an update, the Cambridge-headquartered inkjet manufacturer again emphasised that was “no evidence” that any data had been extracted, and its operations had not been impacted.

The attack involved unauthorised access to Xaar’s computer systems.

“As part of the response, Xaar immediately notified the Information Commissioner's Office. Xaar co-operated with the Information Commissioner throughout the investigation and has been informed that no further action will be taken,” the firm said in a statement.
