Three specialist industry events have been postponed with no new date yet announced due to the ongoing restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic in Germany.

Converting, paper and print exhibitions ICE Europe, CCE International and InPrint Munich 2021 were due to take at the Munich Trade Fair Centre, Germany, from 22 to 24 June 2021, having previously been moved back from 9 to 11 March 2021.

“The current course of the pandemic and the current restrictions in Germany means that there is insufficient planning security for all parties involved,” said Patrick Herman, event director of converting, paper and print events at Mack-Brooks Exhibitions, the organiser of the three shows.

“Despite an enhanced health and safety plan in place and the exhibitors’ willingness to go ahead with the shows in June, we believe that the most responsible decision at this stage is to postpone.”

He added: “To hold the shows at a later date hopefully ensures that the events can continue their critical role in bringing the global converting, paper and print industry together again. Specific dates for the exhibitions will be announced shortly.”

ICE Europe, which focuses on the conversion of flexible, web-based materials such as paper, film, foil and nonwovens, attracted 7,150 trade visitors in 2019.

Corrugated and folding carton event CCE International, meanwhile, attracted 2,406 trade visitors in 2019, while industrial print expo InPrint Munich’s 2019 outing attracted 2,755 trade visitors.
